Security cameras, facial recognition, and AI-powered tracking mean public space is no longer truly public. It has become a stage where we are always performing, consciously or subconsciously, for invisible watchers.
This installation turns the lens back on the issue. Using AI-driven algorithms, we transform typical CCTV-style visuals into a feed that blends reality and abstraction. The “observer” becomes part of the art, experiencing what it feels like to be both the watched and the watcher. Instead of safety, the constant light becomes pressure, replacing moments of private reflection with performance. The work invites visitors to question what we lose when every step is illuminated.
