Ban-quet is an experience designed to bridge communities. A lunch table, extending from the South to the North of Nicosia, digitally eliminating borders.

A long table digitally spanning from the South to the North, bringing together the communities, with one simple goal, to enjoy lunch together.

Half of the table was on the North and half on the South, the participants were paired with a person sitting on the other side of the table, and through online video the participants were able to discuss and enjoy lunch together.

The FOOD:
We encouraged potluck-style contributions—homemade dishes with personal stories during the event. Participants brought a piece of their culture, family, or a significant dish, creating a unique blend of flavors and narratives.

The food was exchanged, dishes from the North traveled to the South, and vice versa. The food acted as a conversation starter between the two sides
